[PD] laptop linux

Hi all,
  
  Just an update - Gentoo, Ubuntu, Knoppix, Debian, none will even boot  from the installation CDs. Demudi cannot find the network, screen or  graphics card. The Intel driver for the graphics chip deosn't install  properly on FC3. I have run out of patience, but if I sell it now I can  buy something nice.
  
  Don't buy an Acer Aspire 1691WLMi laptop, if you value your time and money!
