You have no clue if universe is expanding or not.

I was more thinking about emulating the behavior of the los alamos "Z-machine" for observing galaxies and stars formation, or trying to give to a graphical object on gem the properties of a double layer plasma, to see if shapes are evolving like our observations of distant energetical objects.
