even though, for now, you can only really use SVG with
the plugin from Adobe,
SVG is a free standard like HTML.
it's not owned in any way by Adobe.

one day, there will be a good SVG viewer
published as open-source.

the project MapOMatix products compliant SVG,
the way you can see it is another problem.
