additionally, lots of ancient French poetry ("early-modern", 1500's, and
possibly pre-modern too) have lots of RPN-style inversions. When
caricaturing poetry, using various word permutations is a classic: as
early as 1670, a theatre play makes fun of word permutation poetry («Le
Bourgeois Gentilhomme» by Molière).
