yes, please send me a copy of that file. I have modified it for OSX with pdp2gem and it works fabulously on one machine.
On other machines i use i get an error when loading the movie files. When i load movie files on the working machine it says loaded file svqc etc.. and load the file 

on the other machine it says not a quicktime file or no usuable video stream found than crashes with a [BUS ERROR].

Testing pdp_qt, seems to give the same error. I guess i should start with versions of pdp?
