hello Hans

using "make freeverb" inside the externals folder complains about missing
"packages/Makefile.buildlayout". Do i need the complete PD sources from the CVS for this make file to function correctly ? .

if so could you be kind enough to tell me what commands would be needed to check out the entire CVS ?, as when i follow the commands on the pd plone site they check out different branches of the PD folder, or the externals not the whole CVS .. maybe im overlooking something simple here .

an offlist .pd_linux binary would definitely put me out of my thread braking misery

apologies again if this has broke the thread im readding up on thunderbird now.

Use the externals/Makefile. In externals, type: make freeverb

The binary will then be next to the source file. Works on Mac OS X,
GNU/Linux and MinGW/Windows.
