[PD] { } bug in pd 0.39-2

Hi list,

In PD 0.39-2, if you type a { then pd will sieze up
until you type a }.
Sometimes the mouse pointer is then offset from what
it's actually pointing to (so that the box to draw
around objects appears to the top-left of where you're
actually clicking).
