[PD] opening pd from command line in os x

user$ /Applications/Pd-0.38.4-extended-RC8.app/Contents/MacOS/Pd -rt 
-noaudio -open /Users/user/Desktop/patch.pd

should work.

but it didn't work for me on pd-0.39.2-extended-test1
