[PD] pitchshifter using fft

hi 

i'm lookig for a fft based pitchshifter. since you can play a soundfile
with arbitrary speed but constant pitch usig a phaselocked vocoder,
would it also be possible to use the same principle in order to build a
pitchshifter that keeps the formants the same? 

btw:
i vaguely remember that i found once a collection of quite a lot
example patches, that are not included in pd's doc.i lost them with the
last computer crash. can anybody point me to a direction where to find
them?
