[PD] Gem: Turning a cylinder inside out

I think that GEM should support Blender's 3d model format. Then we could
use a free and open source program to create arbitrary 3d objects and
easily import them into GEM.

Maya, on the other hand, is prohibitively expensive, unless one decides to
steal it. I've grabbed a few free .obj files from the net to use, but
there isn't that much out there...
