sorry, i thought you were speaking about an external you've done. this 
gui-edit patch is very usefull. sometimes it is even helpfull, when settings 
are -not- updated after changing the target. also the the 'send all'-option 
is very cool. since it is built in pd, it is very easy to modify it to make 
some tasks much easier, like setting the send-symbols of a row of sliders to 
'1-blah'...........'16-blah'. very cool!
