[PD] I need advices on a soundcard

Hello,

I run pd on a powerbook with tiger, I need a souncard with multi in /  
out (more than 6 in and 6 out would be nice).
I wanted to know if anybody had an advice about wich good quality  
(firewire?) sound card could do that job with pd of course. I was  
thinking about m-audio firewire 410 or firewire 1814 and then I 've  
read that some people had issues with running pd and these  
soundcards, if anybody is using the same settings that would be nice  
to tell me if it works.
