[PD] PD crashes when creating gemwin-object on linux

oh, i have misunderstood your email: pd/Gem is not crashing when you
create a gem-window but when you create the object [gemwin].

can you do a backtrace with gdb?
#> gdb pd
% run -lib Gem
(now create [gemwin] and watch it crash...)
% bt


did the compilation process made any problems?
