:-) so probably the problem is somewhere else.

a good possibility to check whether your message made it to the list is
to check the archives: if your message is in the archives, then it "is
on the list".


there is an option on the mailman interface that allows you to turn off
sending your own mails (this is: the mails you sent to the list) back to
you. probably you have enabled that.
