[PD] Mp3's in pd

Hi,

	First off I am n00b on pd and the list, so I apologize if this 
addressed elsewhere.  I am building an mp3 mixer in pd, because all 
commercial ones are too expensive and stink, as far as I can tell.  I 
have been using mp3play~ to load mp3s and it works fine, except it only 
loads layer III mp3s.  This is alright, but I have a lot of music in a 
lot of different mp3 and m4a formats.

	I have read about readanysf~ but I am unsure if it is better for this 
than mp3play~ and what I need to download to use it.  I am also curious 
if there is any knows a better way to do this using JACK.  I am running 
Pd version 0.38.4-extended-RC8 on OS X 10.3.
