[PD] scale name clash: Gem + maxlib

It took a lot of effort to get anything renamed.  I think namespaces  
are the answer there, it gives each developer their own sandbox that  
won't mess up other people's sandboxes.  There are too many people to  
coordinate, so instead we should structure the software so we don't  
have to coordinate.
