[PD] Audio Dialog Too Long

Hi,

On a machine with three sound devices (rme hammerfall 9652 + internal sound
card, external USB audio device), I get this:

"Consistency check failed: audio dialog too long."

I understand why it happens, but how can I remedy the problem? I have tried
disconnecting the external USB audio device but that doesn't solve it.
