[PD] gem cvs configure stuck

oops, i checked in a testing version of configure.
it waits for some user input (press enter! most likely 2 times)
since it ignored the "read" command on my machine i forgot about it.

to get rid of it, edit the configure.ac, find the 2 occurences of "read" 
(single word in a line) and delete it.
