nevermind the previous question. As usual, i found the answer just a few minutes after i posted. I was busy for hours trying to install pdp, and it just seems i had a leftover from an old install in /usr/local/lib/pd. The one that is used by the system was at /usr/lib/pd. sorry to bother you with it. yvan
