it works, but there is a problem doing that: the external [import] won't
load anymore (undefined symbol: sys_load_lib_dir) and since many
externals are compiled as single objects in pd-extended, you would have
to add a -path for each directory in [...]pd/extra/ .
besides that, the externals still work, though.
