I noticed that coll didn't work very well on ubuntu (pd-ext, pre-latest  
build). But on windows seems to work fine.

I prefer to use txtfile (or similar) with a coppled [del]. you have access  
to the floats, and you can scale them if necessary (make everything  
faster/slower)
