[PD] ATI xorg7 Gem issues

Hi,

A couple of months back someone wrote to this list saying they were
using an ATI card with xorg7 and Gem was putting all the graphics right
over to the left hand side of the viewing area, and moving the viewing
area did not make a difference to the result. Did anyone find a solution
to this issue? I just bought a second hand laptop with an ATI card and
I'm getting the same thing.
