We should keep this on the list since other people besides me can  
answer this question, perhaps quicker too, and it might be of general  
interest.

The PlanetCCRMA RPMs are built by Nando at CCRMA.  As far as I can  
tell, they are quite old, the web page lists the version as  
0.37.0-3cvs.  Plus there are only a small subset of the available  
externals libraries there.

Excellent!  You can get the source file for the Nando's PlanetCCRMA  
RPM in CVS here: packages/redhat_rpm/pd.spec  I've never made RPMs  
before either, but I think this list can probably help some.  I'll  
bet Nando would be willing to answer some questions about it if that  
means he can offload the maintenance of the Pd RPMs.
