[PD] paint-mode in Gem?

hi Erich,

seems that all open gl functions should be available to any open gl
compliant system.

I was experiencing the same problem.
if  the example patch does not work
I don't know what to tell you.
however, discovered (based on Andres patch)
that the gem chain requires a metro going
into gemhead for glClear etc. to work.
