[PD] Empty value in a number ?

Hi!
I built a guitar tab-like sequencer. My aim is to include it in netpd.
The current default value is -1, as this is an impossible value for a
tab. The lower limit is also -1. This is kind of ankward, as it looks
ugly and distracts the composer : it messes up with the real values
that actually mean something in the song.

I would like to know if there is any I could put an empty value in a
number box. I know it is impossible with numbers... maybe with number2
? If not, would it be a great feature to add ? We could send a message
like "set" to make it empty.
