[PD] Waveform in GEM

Hi list!

I'm starting to learn GEM and I would like to make a patch which visualize
the waveform of a dinamic input audio signal into the GEM window (something
like an oscilloscope).
Is there some abstraction which make this?
Any suggestion about how to implement this?
