Many TV cards just route their audio signal through an outside cable
to your main soundcard. If you have a multichannel card, then
everything is easy. It's also possible to use the tv-card as a
seperate soundcard with some drivers, but then you would need to
connect Pd to more than one soundcard at the same time which generally
is not a good idea (but I's possible using for example jackd and a
jack tool whose name slips me ATM.)
