[PD] MOTU 968 and OSX

I'm using an ultralite with on 10.4.7 and it works fine, however, on  
one occasion I set the sample rate to 44100 in pd's preferences while  
the MOTU Audio Setup was set to 96000 and it resulted in a crash.
