hi.
i assume that Gem loads correctly!
again: did you create the gemwindow? have you turned rendering on?
you have to click on the [create( message (connected to the [gemwin]
object) in the example-patch. a (black) window should pop up.
then(!) you have to turn on rendering, by sending a "1" to [gemwin]
(click on the [1( message).
then something should turn up.
if not, i need more information: os (w32-XP, iirc), gem-version (you did
install the Gem.dll into <path-to-pd>/extra (??)), what gets printed on
the pd-console!
i don't know anything about your skills in using Pd. parts of what i am
saying in this email is trivial (if you know it:-)), so it would be good
to give me an overview.

PS: we usually think it good style to keep questions and answers on the
pd-list, as it might help other people who have similar problems. please
_always_ reply to the list (sending your answer to the list will reach
me and other people AND the archives; sending your answer to me and the
list will also reach me and other people and the archives; sending your
answer only to me makes things private to the 2 of us)
