[PD] connections disappearing with 0.40

I get the same: Opening the patch in 0.40 is totally messed. Saving the
patch again from 0.40 will save the mess so then the patch is
completely borg. 

It looks like a bug in 0.40, probably from a wrong parsing of the
internal message stuff you do in that patch. You could maybe put the
patch into the bug tracker so this doesn't get lost.
