hi again.

thanks for all the bug reports.

obviously there were some initial problems with the userdb-backend.

most of them should be fixed by now: please try again

in the course of fixing i was able to restore the original passwords.
however, i fear that this means that all passwords reset yesterday have 
been reverted to the original ones.
apologies, apologies...

the double user entries should be fixed (it turned out, that i hadn't 
been able to delete all 1700 users from the backend (only 500 or so), 
due to some backend restrictions.

as for the user-search:
it seems that it currently only gives results for users that have logged 
in at least once in the running plone-session (whenever it gets 
restarted, the cache is purged and set to Nil again); i hope i will be 
able to fix this.


if you experience anything unusual, please report immediately.
