[PD] tabread from datastructures?

hello again,
I am trying to access arrays in data-structures directly with tabread, 
resp. tabread4~. Is this not possible? when I try [tabread bazoo] in 
05.array.pd example patch I get "error: bazoo: no such array".
what is the best way to flush array data to a table? or will I run into 
performance problems with large arrays in datastructure anyway?
