Hi Chuckk, 

Yep, I appreciated it since I also started 
thinking at it last summer so
I understand the difficulties ;-)
Mine was an unfinished work :-( and probably 
it will remain like that, no time...).
For curiosity you can see the preliminary versions of 
the GUI done with the pd GUI objects + GOP in attachment.
No datastructures.

One small suggestion is: press repeatedly on a button 
to change its color (at least I did like that), 
so you don't have to go outside the table to 
first set the colors an then press the selected 
button...

PS: the image I posted was the mini-master mind I had 
in the 80's  ;-)

Glad you like it.  It was harder than I thought, considering
the game
doesn't have to "think" at all.
I should put some background in there; the one you sent only
has 6
lines though...
