[PD] [PD-announce] Pd 0.40-0 test 08 released

Hi all,

Pd 0.40-0 test 08 is available from 

http://www-crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.html

I hope I've fixed the problem of Pd crashing on startup on
certain Windows boxes.  A few other small bug fixes too.
