[PD] -nogui troubles

As of 0.40 you can run "pd -noprefs" (from the command line or using a
shortcut) to get Pd running without preferences.  There are probably
several other things you can do in the preferences that will break Pd
badly enough that you will have to do this.  One example is that loading a
buggy "library" can crash Pd on startup.
