[PD] -nogui troubles

Maybe this is what simon means, but I would like to be able to associate
preferences to particular patches. Is that possible?

any way of getting a different, specified, prefs or pdrc file instead  
of the standard one using the command line? this would be very useful  
if you are running more than 1 version of pd.
