[PD] roland spd-s

i'm looking for a pd version of the roland spd-s (sampling pad with 9 drum /
percussion playing surfaces) patching system (assigning sounds to pads,
being able to create mute groups, having a possibility to have the velocity
have an effect or not etc). anyone out there who has sth like that lying
around? if not, i'll try to build one. i'll use it as an abstraction, which
brings me to another question: i understood abstractions take creation
arguments. could i implement something that will have the creation arg be
the name of the patch, and save its settings? would that be a rrad sort of
approach? as you can see, i've picked up some info here and there, but i
don't really know what i'm talking about. de klok en de klepel...
any help would be much appreciated!
