please do not consider netpd as an own separate distribution of
puredata. the provided packages for win and osx are actually the same as
millers version with some patches and some libs added. also there is
only a packaged version of netpd with pd for windows and osx, but not
for linux. for two reasons: it is more difficult to do and also i expect
linux users to be able to do all the necessary things by
themselves :-) . the windows-package is just there, because sometimes it
is handy (for me, too) to install netpd with one click on a windows box
and there are a few people, who are using netpd, but are not into pd yet
(possibly pd-users of the future?) and that is the only way for them to
install netpd by themselves.

anyway, i'd prefer to put the netpd-code into cvs once in the future, so
that it gets part of the pd-extended distro, rather than establish
another pd-distro.

cheers
roman
