[PD] GEM - alpha blending of images over movies

pix_movie directly textures the image.  On OSX it uses some tricks to
improve performance when dealing with HD resolution clips.  I will have a
look into the 'colorspace' issue although I will say that RGB isn't the most
efficient path to use.
