you're joking? before i submitted pd to the dataflow category in dmoz, everythign there was some kind of programming language that you could _definitely_ use without a GUI..

and in the sense that the patches define a signal/message graph. SC and Chuck tear it to shreds on no-gui..

of course, this could be a good subject for the summer of code..
