Adding -ltheora got me past that hurdle, but now I get this:

/Users/pd/auto-build/pd-extended-release/packages/darwin_app/build/
Pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2.app/Contents/Resources/extra/pidip.pd_darwin:
dlopen(/Users/pd/auto-build/pd-extended-release/packages/darwin_app/
build/Pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2.app/Contents/Resources/extra/
pidip.pd_darwin, 10): Symbol not found: _sched_setscheduler
   Referenced from: /Users/pd/auto-build/pd-extended-release/packages/
darwin_app/build/Pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2.app/Contents/Resources/extra/
pidip.pd_darwin

Which library is sched_setscheduler from?

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
