[PD] call for PDP testing on Mac OS X

To anyone who has gotten pdp_glx to work on os x,

What did you have to install to get it going?  I have run the latest auto-build and although pdp_glx 
object opens, when ever I try to get a window open I get the following error:

pdp_xdisplay_new: can't open display :0
pdp_glx: cant open display :0

I have tried this on 2 different G4s and one G5 with os 10.4.9. Any help would be apreciated.
