[PD] problems with pix_record?

hi, im trying to use pix_record to record some gem
video to mov files, but it seems the object is not
working fine.. it doesnt record anything, and when i
send the codelist message  i cant see any codec
available , just null...
is there any way to fix this? or is there any special
trick?
im using pd 0.39.2- extended
any hint would be appreciated
