[PD] what distinguishes a numeric symbol as an argument

That's what I meant: To me it's not a big issue. I think I've never
felt the need to use a these numeric symbols in my Pd patching life,
and I don't think I'm doing much different things than other Pd users.
So solving that issue is not high on my wishlist. Other things however
are.
