[PD] Wrong elf class ELF32 w / amd64

Hi all,
just to report that on ubuntu amd64 the extras library objects fail with
"Wrong elf class ELF32". The problem is due to the fact that this library is
compiled with the -m32 flag. Removing the flag from the makefile solves the
issue. I think that this flag shouldn't be harcoded into the makefiles.
