now you can make an [unpost] object that is essentially just a 
pass-through to its own left outlet, except that it will collect all posts 
such as produced by [print] and error messages, and it will turn them into 
symbols, that can be picked up by symbolboxes and such. Here is an example 
screenshot:

Those posts are only trapped while the left outlet message is still being 
handled. Things return to normal as soon as the left outlet message 
"returns" (that is, terminates). Chaining [unpost]s will do the expected 
thing, which is that the last activated [unpost] that is still active is 
the one that picks up the posts. (However you can't send to an [unpost] 
object that is already active.)
