[PD] test

i've been told that the pd-list looks like it's down, so i'm testing.

As of now, the last mail in the pd-list archive is dated Sun Jul 8 
03:07:33 CEST 2007, which was 21:07 yesterday in my time zone, so it's 
been 25 hours since last email, and so far it seems unlikely... plus 
someone said their mail didn't reach the archives.
