[PD] OT: help needed setting up Hammerfall, ALSA and JACK on debian

Hi,

Sorry for the off-topic post.

I have a recent Debian install on my laptop and am having a hell of a hard
time getting my hammerfall HDSP to work with ALSA and jack. I found several
pages on the web with conflicting information about how to set it up.

I would really appreciate if someone can point me in the direction of up to
date and correct how-tos or advice on how to set it up.
