[PD] Multiple Webcams and pdp

Hi,
I am working in an computer vision based installation and I have to make a movement detection in a big area so I have to use at least 4 cameras :( 

I was wondering if it is possible to sample four 640x480 frames from the cameras to compose another 640x480 frame and then run the detection under pdp or pidip. 

Another option could be to make a timer and send 1 frame every 4 frames to the analysis, could it be better to optimize the process?
