[PD] linux - faster load first time

384MB ram seems a bit low.. (nowadays)

My old duron 800 has 1GB.

I've not noticed PD starting more slowly than it always has on my feisty
or etch machines...

you can always try oprofile to see what is using up what (CPU wise)
